New Team Members

Steven A. Kinch

Steven Kinch was brought onto the team in October of 2008 to increase our ability to provide creative development in the areas of content and business development for our clients. He is BBK’s “idea tank” as our Director of Creative Services.

His experience of 30 years in content design gives BBK the ability to custom tailor a client’s needs from multi-media projects to private-public sector joint ventures. His writing ability ranges from journalism and scripts to business plans and strategic position paper authorship.

His work with the Beaver Run Resort in Breckenridge, Colorado as its first media relations and promotions director converted the resort from a regional stopping off place to a national destination.

Kinch spent 20 years as an entrepreneur in a variety of communications venues. By publishing “Spotlight Colorado,” a tourism magazine, he paved the way in new print content and distribution. As an independent media consultant he assisted Colorado’s tourism industry by designing innovative marketing and funding methods. His presence in the Denver Advertising Federation addressed many issues within the development of ethics and standards.

He has been a leader in various city, state and national efforts to combat youth violence and address economic development needs by designing and implementing communications strategies in both Colorado and Pennsylvania. As one of the founders and leaders in the city of Denver’s Youth Violence Task Force he was critical to the development of the Safe City Office, which is now a permanent part of Denver’s future for youth development. Kinch, also, designed the first business incubator for Pennsylvania’s service sector that was designed to assist film and TV development. He, also, assisted numerous political campaigns with communication strategies and tactics. This work was done on city, regional, state and national levels.

Kinch’s leadership in Colorado’s film and TV industry produced the first long term plan for the industry as well as helping create the state’s film tax incentive development efforts.
