At its core, and formed by a partnership of Hollywood and Madison Avenue, BBK is a uniquely positioned production company that packages and facilitates strategic alliance partnerships between multi-media entertainment content projects with brand marketers through the primary brand gatekeeper – the advertising agency.

BBK’s strategic advantages lie in its ability to successfully bring together both the entertainment and brand marketing decision makers as equal partners in the content integration formula. Additionally, the ability to develop content in any stage of a production provides BBK's strategic partners a broader base of services.

Product Placement

BBK was created in 2002 as a strategic and specialized resource for both Hollywood and Madison Avenue to effectively realize the true potential of both product placement and brand integration. And, that's enabled us to remain uniquely positioned to do what we do best - create branded content projects for our production
partners.

Until recently, product placement was viewed by Madison Avenue as a non-essential media expense. The product placement agencies, which view their role as one-dimensional, did little to dissuade the ad agencies of that perception. Most product placement agencies attempt to by-pass the agency in their process, which ultimately slows down the decision making process and alienates this important audience.

We work on behalf of both the agencies and the production. We do this by working closely in conjunction with each brand’s ultimate steward its lead advertising agency, as well as studio executives, producers, and directors to expand the overall brand strategy through participation with entertainment content.

With all the current technological advances taking hold, and with advertisers beginning to siphon off media budgets to support brand integration initiatives, most agencies are now in the process of a mindset shift toward viewing product placement as an important strategic branding vehicle.

Brand Casting

BBK’s objective is to elevate the role of product placement in the brand communications mix. We are pioneering the concept of “brand casting.” Brand Casting is the idea that brands, like actors, bring certain qualities and personality to their roles. Therefore, the entertainment vehicle – its content, audience reach, tone and attitude should be consistent with the overall brand strategy.

Additionally, Brand Casting is an immortal vehicle, considering the evolution of a feature film or television show as it moves from cinema release, to video/dvd, cable distribution, network broadcast, and ultimately, international markets.

BBK also helps agency clients extend the brand casting opportunity through promotional campaigns in both traditional and digital media. This way, agencies not only ensure brand consistency across platforms, but are able to realize significant and financial relationship rewards as well.
